A Barnsley house has been badly damaged by a fire, which is believed to have started accidentally.
The fire started in the kitchen of the property at around 9.25 last night on Tingle Bridge Lane, Hemingfield, Barnsley.
Firefighters from Dearne and Tankerlsey fire stations managed to prevent the fire from spreading to other rooms in the house.
The kitchen of the property was badly fire damaged and the rest of the house was extensively smoke logged.
The owner was out of the house at the time of the incident. A fire cause investigation revealed an electrical fault with the kitchen fridge to be the likely cause of the fire.
