Man pulled from mud

A man in his 30s was rescued from thick mud in Doncaster.

 

The man’s leg had become stuck in the mud off Cuckoo Lane near Hatfield, Doncaster at around 2.30pm on Saturday.

 

Firefighters from Thorne and Aston Park fire stations used an inflatable walkway to reach the casualty and used shovels to dig him out.

 

He was checked over by paramedics at the scene, but was unhurt.

 

Fire crews left the scene at around 4.30pm.
