The Environment and Safety Information Act 1988 Act requires Fire and Rescue Services and local authorities to maintain a register of information concerning the issue of Alterations, Enforcement and Prohibition Notices, which must be open to inspection by the public free of charge. This can be viewed here.

The Primary Authority Scheme enables Enforcing Authorities to provide advice and guidance to multi-location businesses to support their compliance with legislation and reduce the financial burden of regulation. For more information click here.
