Elm Lane firefighters are inviting local people into the station on Saturday 25^th September for a fun-packed open day.

There will be a range of activities and demonstrations planned throughout the day, including:

·         Road traffic collision demonstration

·         Fire fighting demonstrations

·         Technical Rescue Unit display – firefighters trained in specialist rescue techniques will be performing a demonstration

·         Chip pan fire demonstration

·         Fire Cadets

·         Various stalls

The event will be open between 10am and 4pm.

Elm Lane Station Manager Trevor Bernard said:  “Local people are invited to come along and find out a little more about how things work here at the station.  There will be plenty of activities for all the family to have a really fun day.”
