There will be a range of activities and demonstrations planned throughout the two days, including:
· A road traffic collision demonstration (Monday)
· Technical Rescue Unit (TRU) display – firefighters trained in specialist rescue techniques will be performing a demonstration. (Sunday)
· Chip pan fire demonstration
· Water Rescue Equipment exhibition
· Fire Cadet demonstration
The event will be open between 10am and 4pm each day.
Adwick Station Manager Steve Adams said: “This is an opportunity for our crews to once again engage with the local community, and for people to come along and find out a little more about how things work here at the station. We are opening our Station to the Community as part of the Woodlands May Festival. There will be plenty of activities for all the family to have a really fun day.”
