

Firefighters from Rotherham will be welcoming local people into the station on Sunday 4th July for a fun-packed open day.
There will be a range of activities and demonstrations planned throughout the day, including:
· Road traffic collision demonstration
· Technical Rescue Unit (TRU) display – firefighters trained in specialist rescue techniques will be performing a demonstration
· Fire Police Museum
· Partner Agencies attending– NHS, PCT, Traffic Police
· Fairground rides
· Fire Cadet demonstration
Rotherham Station Manager Shaun Pilley said: “Local people are invited to come along and find out a little more about how things work here at the station. There will be plenty of activities for all the family to have a really fun day.”
The event will be open between 10am and 4pm at Rotherham Fire Station, Fitzwilliam Road, Eastwood, Rotherham.
