Boy suffers burns in garden fire

A 5 year-old boy was taken to Sheffield Children’s hospital on Sunday evening after he was burnt by flames from a fire in his back garden.

Firefighters from Elm Lane station were called to the house in Shiregreen, Sheffield at around 19:30. They assisted paramedics, treating the boy’s injuries, before he was taken to hospital with burns to his face, leg and body.
