SYFR is continuing its work to promote equality in race gender, disability, age, sexual orientation and religion and belief and linking with promoting human rights and developing cohesive communities across South Yorkshire.
Equality and Diversity work covers all aspects of SYFR operations and, in particular, we aim to promote equality in the way we offer jobs and deliver services to communities, the way we organise resources to prioritise the needs of groups at most risk of fire and other emergencies and in how we engage and involve staff, service users and communities in developing responsive services.
