South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue's Vision is committed to acknowledging the diversity of communities and agencies and supporting them by working together in partnership for a 'Safer South Yorkshire' by:

  • Educating and encouraging people to take more responsibility for their own safety.
  • Promoting risk reduction as a means of improving community safety, economic welfare, health and well-being.
  • Ensuring that there are no preventable emergencies.

In achieving our vision we recognise that partnership working in the above areas within our communities is vital.  We have forged many partnerships to date involving many organisations, agencies and local individual community groups.

We welcome new partners in achieving a 'Safer South Yorkshire' and request that you take the opportunity to navigate this partnership site to find out who our partners are and more about our working together.  If you are interested in any aspect of our partnership working then apply on line.
