| Corporate Plan 2007-2010 |
The Plan sets out how we are continuing to respond effectively to the challenges that we face as a Fire and Rescue Authority in the interests of all the communities that we serve throughout South Yorkshire. We continue to direct added emphasis towards the prevention of emergencies and to the vitally important area of community safety education. To support this, we will be further developing our partnership working arrangements with our local emergency service colleagues and the other South Yorkshire local authorities. We will also take whatever opportunities we can to work collaboratively with our neighbouring fire and rescue authorities in the Yorkshire and Humberside region, in the interests of providing a more effective and cost efficient local Fire and Rescue Service. The Annual Report and Annual Service Performance Plan, which was previously a separate document has now been integrated into the Corporate Plan. Sections 11 and 16 in the Plan set out our achievements during 2006/07, our current performance and targets for improvement in the coming years. |
