The new Doncaster Fire Station went operational at 0900 hours on Tuesday, 27th July, 2004.  This replaced the old station on Leger Way which was built in 1936 and served the people of Doncaster for over 68 years.  This is a wholetime station situated near the racecourse on the outskirts of the town and the station area includes the town centre, residential property and several industrial estates.
