| South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue is a Metropolitan Fire Brigade, which functions under the control of South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Authority.
It covers the County area of the South Yorkshire Region, encompassing the 4 districts of Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield. The Brigade is led by the Chief Fire Officer and his Senior Management Team is responsible for managing each function and department.
