South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue recognised this and formulated a plan to be part of this quality education system, based on the Government requests to reduce fires in the home, false alarm calls, arson, and the number of small fires.
South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue realised that giving children fire safety advice from an early age would reap long term benefits in producing better citizens of the future. We now teach fire safety education in all Key Stage areas of a child's development.
