Corn Drier Catches Fire

Fire crews from Rotherham sprung into action when a corn drying machine containing 11 tonnes of grain caught fire in a farmer’s field.

The incident occurred at 8.15pm on Wednesday, when a probable fault in the machine’s heating mechanism caused the fire to ignite at Low Farm in Dalton Magna.
