Topping-out new HQ
Golden Bolt

A Topping-out ceremony has taken place at the new Fire Station on Eyre Street in Sheffield to mark the progress of the new building.  It was attended by the Deputy Chief Fire Officer Steve Swarbrick and Fire Authority Chairman Cllr Jim Andrews who inserted a 'Golden Bolt' into the structure to celebrate the occasion.

The new Fire Station and Headquarters will be ready in six months time.  After which the old Fire Station on Wellington Street will be demonlished and a new John Lewis store will replace it.
