SYFR Annual Awards 2009
COULD YOU BE THE BEST COMMUNITY PARTNER 2009?

Does your organisation have what it takes to be declared Best Community Partner 2009 at the next South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Awards?

The award is open to any organisation that has worked closely with the Service in order to make South Yorkshire safer, either in an ongoing capacity or on a specific project between the start of December 2007 and the end of August 2008.

A Best Community Partner winner will be selected for each area of South Yorkshire (Doncaster, Rotherham, Sheffield and Barnsley) and will be revealed during a glitzy event at Doncaster Racecourse on 5th March 2009.  An overall winner from these will also be revealed on the night.

Organisations who wish to put themselves forward for the Best Community Partner category should submit their nomination by 12 September 2008.  Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by the end of the year.

Other awards, including Best Business Partner, Young Person’s Achievement Award and the Special Award for Diversity, will be nominated by South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue staff before the end of September.
