South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue are currently accepting applications for Retained Firefighters at the following Fire Stations:

Royston, Penistone, Stocksbridge, Mosborough,
Rossington, Askern, Edlington

Applicants should ideally live within a 5 minute attendance time of the Retained Fire Station in order to attain the required mobilisation.

Retained Firefighters are a valuable element of the organisation.  Not only do they aid their local community but they also support the wider need of maintaining standards of fire cover within the County.
