Asset Management

The "Asset Management" service involves the overall co-ordination of the key assets that SYFR use as an organisation.  At SYFR this includes the following range of functions:

  • Property and facilities management
  • ICT hardware, software and systems
  • Procurement of goods and services

These services are within the remit of the newly created post of Head of Asset Management and are delivered via the Estates, ICT and Supplies service areas under the direction of that functional head of service.

  • Property repair, maintenance and management
  • Servicing, maintenance and cleaning contracts
  • Property acquisition and disposal services
  • Capital planned maintenance works
  • Capital Project support
  • Property Asset Management Plan

ICT

  • IT hardware and software management and development
  • Communications hardware and software management and development
  • Capital Project support

Supplies

  • Procurement and disposal of goods and services
  • Storage and distribution
  • Capital Project support
