Overnight incidents 15/16 January

A digger was accidentally on fire last night at 9:30pm. Two fire engines from Dearne station were called to the incident on Station Road, Wath Upon Dearne, Rotherha. The crews left the scene at 10:10pm.

Firefighters from Rotherham station attended a pile of rubbish which had been deliberately set on fire at 11:25pm on Cross Street, Thrybergh, Rotherham. The crew left at 11:45pm.

At 11:45pm a skip was deliberately set on fire on Owston Road, Carcroft, Doncaster. Firefighters from Adwick attended the incident.  They used a hose reel to quickly put the fire out before leaving the scene at 12:20am.
