Overnight incidents – 22/23 November

Firefighters from Dearne were called to High Street, Mexborough, at 7.35pm. Upon arrival they found a roadside bin well alight. This was dealt with by 7.49pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Tankersley were called to West Street, Worsborough, at 7.54pm. Upon arrival they found a caravan well alight on some derelict land. This was dealt with by 8.33pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Central were called to a house on Chesterfield Road, Sheffield, at 7.56pm. Upon arrival they found an extractor fan and chimney flue involved in fire. This was dealt with by 8.39pm and is thought to have started accidentally.

Firefighters from Aston Park were called to Market Laughton Road, Dinnington, at 8.29pm. Upon arrival they found a pile of rubbish had been placed on a market stall and set alight. This was dealt with by 8.48pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Edlington, Dearne and Rotherham were called to Beech Crescent, Mexborough, at 9.26pm. Upon arrival they found a car well alight on a driveway. This was dealt with by 10.28pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Rotherham were called to Arnold Crescent, Mexborough, at 9.38pm. Upon arrival they found a car well alight on a driveway. This was dealt with by 10.22pm and is thought to have been started deliberately, in connection with the previous incident.

Firefighters from Adwick were called to West Avenue, Woodlands, at 11.48pm. Upon arrival they found a motorbike on fire. This was dealt with by 0.03am and is thought to have been started deliberately.
