Overnight incidents 23/24 February 2021

Tankersley firefighters were called out to an accidental fire involving bushes at 7pm on Springwood Lane, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 7:20pm.

A shed was accidentally on fire at 8:20pm on Old Hall Road, Bentley, Doncaster after a brazier fire spread to it. A fire crew from Adwick station attended the incident. The firefighters came away at 9pm.

At 10:25pm firefighters from Doncaster were called out to free a dog which had its paw trapped in a radiator on Kilham Lane, Branton, Doncaster. Firefighters were able to quicker free the dog which was fine. Crews left at 10:45pm.

Firefighters from Cudworth station attended a deliberate car fire at 10:40pm on Lee Lane, Royston, Barnsley. The fire crew left the scene at 11:15pm.

A Suzuki Vitara vehicle was deliberately set on fire at 11:50pm on Owen Close, Sheffield. A fire crew from Elm Lane station attended the incident. They left the scene at 12:20am.

Three fire crews from Central and Rivelin stations were called out to a fire at an empty commercial premise at 1:55am on Penistone Road, Owlerton, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. Crews came away at 4:10am.
