Weekend incidents – 16/18 April 2021

Central firefighters were called out to a deliberate scooter fire at 10:20am (Saturday) on Cricket Inn Crescent, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 10:45am.

Three fire crews from Central, Rotherham and Elm Lane stations were called out to a flat at 12:25pm (Saturday) at Huttons Buildings, West Street, Sheffield. The fire was in a third floor flat and is believed to have started accidentally due to an electrical fault. The two occupants suffered smoke inhalation and went to hospital. The crews left the scene at 2:25pm.

A JCB was accidentally on fire at 1:40pm (Saturday) on West Moor Lane, Armthorpe, Doncaster. Two fire crews from Doncaster stations attended the incident. They came away at 2:35pm.

Six fire crews from Rivelin, Central x 2, Lowedges, Parkway and Elm Lane stations attended a moorland fire at 10pm on Saturday night. The fire was off Ringinglow Road, Sheffield. The cause of the fire in not yet known. Firefighters left the scene at 12:45am.

At 10:30am (Sunday) a fire crew from Rotherham station attended a bin fire at White Thorns Drive, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. Crews left the scene at 10:55am.

A scooter was deliberately set on fire at 11:25am (Sunday) on Hastilar Road South, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left the scene at 11:45am.

Cudworth firefighters were called out to an accidental cooking fire at a premise on Birch Road, Kendray, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 12:15pm (Sunday).

Three fire crews from Maltby, Aston and Rotherham stations attended a kitchen fire at 2:10pm (Sunday) on Park Road, East Dene, Rotherham. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. The crews came away at 3:35pm.
