Strategy Manager – Performance and Data


Contract: Fixed Term for 2 years until January 2020

Salary: Grade 11 (£41,967 - £43,821)


Hours: Full Time - 37 Hours per week

Work Pattern: Flexi Time


Location: Headquarters in Sheffield


An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Service Delivery Support department for a Strategy Manager – Performance and Data, responsible for the delivery of key business intelligence to inform strategic decision making. The role is available for a fixed period of 2 years.

Based at our Headquarters in Sheffield, the overall purpose of the role is to lead a team of 8 members of staff to develop and maintain systems and processes to provide timely and accurate performance reporting and data analysis to Senior Management and the Fire Authority. The role also encompasses the proactive use of business intelligence and risk modelling to target prevention services, working with internal & external stakeholders.

To be considered for this role you will have proven experience of performance management, service planning and resource management in support of continuous improvement.

Displaying excellent presentation skills you will be expected to present complex management information and data and present them to a variety of different audiences at all levels. You will also possess the skills and qualities to effectively manage, motivate and develop a team and be able to manage priorities and budgets.
