Mansfield Road is a wholetime station covering a densely populated residential area of the county to the east of Sheffield city centre. It also has a number of small to moderate sized industrial and commercial risks within the station area. Mansfield Road covers the surrounding areas of Manor, Wybourn, Manor Park, Birley, Norfolk Park, Hackenthorpe, Herdings and Arbourthorne. The Supertram network also runs through the station area. The station has a Community Advice Office which can be contacted on 0114 287 8973 and its own Arson Intervention Cycle team. Fire Cadets train here on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings
