To make a referral you will need the following:

• Your organisations SSY referral code
• Occupiers details
• Consent from the occupier for you to share their information with SYFR

Please include relevant information about the occupier and their home. This is SYFRs preferred method for receiving referrals from partners.

Please note the online referral portal is password protected and details of how to log in can be found in the user guide issued to your organisation. If you don’t not have access to this you can contact us at safe&well@syfire.gov.uk and we will be happy to resend to you.

Alternatively you can call our Hotline on 0114 253 2314 and pass the referral on. Please note if you call the hotline you will need to provide the same information as you would when completing the secure portal this includes providing your SSY code.

Due to the volume of calls to this number you may be required to leave an answerphone message therefore we recommend using the secure online referral portal where ever possible.

Need more training?
