Personal Development & employability skills for students at risk of under-achievement or exclusion.
The aim is to improve student behaviour, attendance & attainment and reduce the risk of students becoming involved in anti-social behaviour.
|Raising Awareness of Fire Safety Through Play|
Delivery of interactive fire safety days with families from Roma, Slovak Yemini & Somali. Hard to reach groups at higher risk of fire in the home. Currently have 50 children & parents using the facility.
|Retro-Fitting Sprinklers in Sheltered Schemes|
Fitting of sprinkler systems in sheltered accommodation scheme. Average age of tenants is 75 years with health and mobility problems increasing vulnerability & risk of Fire.
|Re-Development of Exhibitions|
Part of the re-development of the existing museum to refurbish the exhibition areas.
|Safe & Secure – Working Together|
Target hardening for victims and witnesses identified as at risk of harm. SYFR will be part of the risk assessment and will be able to fit smoke alarms in properties at higher risk of deliberate fires.

Project provides a room thermometer with 3 safety messages that promote: smoke free homes, sleep safe & safety in the home.

Support for a new boxing/sports club on the Manor Estate Sheffield. SSCR funding will enable the gym to develop and work with more disadvantaged young people.
