Car fire breaks out after collision in Sheffield

A car fire broke out after a road traffic collision, that involved four vehicles, took place on a Sheffield Street.

Firefighters from Elm Lane were called to Southey Avenue at 1.21am this morning (Wednesday 27 March) to reports of a car fire.

The vehicle had set alight after colliding with three parked vehicles. Breathing apparatus wearers extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet.

The incident had been dealt with by 1.41am.
