Crews deal with deliberate car fires in Sheffield and Doncaster

Two deliberate car fires were amongst the range of incidents that firefighters dealt with during the early hours of this morning (Friday 28 September).

Crews from Parkway, Birley Moor and Aston Park were called to Clayton Crescent, Sheffield, at 0.50am to reports of a car, which was adjacent to a house, on fire.

This fire was dealt with quickly by firefighters, and did not spread to the house, however further investigation revealed that it was started deliberately.

Shortly after this incident, at 1.11am, firefighters were called to a car fire on Acacia Road in Doncaster. This incident was dealt by by 1.34am but was also started deliberately.

Nobody was injured in either incident, however both cars have been left significantly damaged.
