Firefighters from several stations, along with a number of specialist appliances, are currently at a car lot on Bentley Moor Lane in Carcroft, Doncaster, after being called just before 10pm.

Over 30 cars are understood to be ablaze and crews are working hard to get the fire under control and extinguished. We expect to be in attendance for most of the night and, whilst it’s late, ask that people stay away from the area whilst we do our work.

There are currently no reports of any injuries and it is not yet known how the fire started. A fire investigation into the cause will take place in due course.
