Firefighters rescued a man from a house fire at Club Garden Road, Sheffield last night.
Fire crews from Central and Rivelin attended the incident after a smoke alarm activated around 11:15pm.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus rescued the male, aged in his twenties, who was asleep in the first floor flat when they arrived. He was later taken to hospital suffering from the affects of smoke inhalation.
The fire was accidental and caused by smoking materials. Crews left the incident around 1am.
