Overnight incidents 12/13 October 2021

Thorne firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 7:20pm on Waggons Way, Stainforth, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 7:55pm.

Firefighters from Central station attended an accidental bin fire at 8:30pm on Fulwood Road, Sheffield. The crew came away at 8:50pm.

Three fire crews from Tankersley, Penistone and Barnsley stations were called out to a road traffic collision involving one car at 10:30pm on Thurgoland Hall Lane, Thurgoland, Barnsley.  One man was trapped in the car, so firefighters quickly worked to extricate him from the vehicle. The crews left the scene at 11:30pm.

Firefighters from Lowedges station attended a deliberate vehicle fire at 11:55pm on Batemoor Road, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 12:35am.

Parkway firefighters were called out to a garden shed and fence on fire at 1am on Hall Road, Sheffield. The fire is believed to be accidental due to it spreading from a chiminea. The crews left the scene at 1:40am.

A motorbike was deliberately set on fire at 3:05am on Warminster Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left at 3:45am.

A fire crew from Parkway station attended a deliberate van fire at 4:25am on Senior Road, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 5:10am.
