Overnight incidents 14/15 October 2020

Firefighters from Central station were called out to a bonfire out of control at 7:20pm on Effingham Street, Sheffield. The fire was a deliberate fire. The crew left the scene at 8pm.

At 8:20pm a fire crew from Askern station was called out to a small fire in woods at Airstone Road, Instoneville, Doncaster. The fire was started deliberately. The firefighters left the scene at 8:50pm.

Dearne firefighters attended a deliberate fire in a park involving wood and branches at 8:35pm on Wath Road, Bolton Upon Dearne, Barnsley. The crew left at 8:55pm.

Two fire crews from Cudworth and Dearne stations attended a road traffic collision at 10:25pm on South Moor Road, Brierley, Barnsley. One van was in a field with one man trapped. Firefighters extricated the casualty and left him in the care of paramedics. The crews left the scene at 12am.

A camper van was accidentally on fire at 1:20am at Highfield Park, Maltby, Rotherham. Firefighters from Maltby station attended the incident. They came away at 1:40am.

Rotherham firefighters attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 6:40am this morning on Fenton Road, Kimberworth Park, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 6:55am.
