Overnight incidents 16/17 June 2020

Four fire crews from Central, Lowedges and Rivelin stations were called out to a house on fire at 7:30pm on Millhouses Lane, Sheffield. The premise had been hit by lightning and the roof was on fire.  Firefighters used hose reels to tackle the fire. The crews left at 10:10pm.

At 9:25pm last night firefighters from Parkway station attended a deliberate rubbish fire on Infield Lane, Sheffield. The crew came away at 10pm.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 10:10pm on Broughton Avenue, Bentley, Doncaster. A fire crew from Adwick station attended the incident. They came away at 10:30pm.

Central firefighters attended a fire in a garden on Ecclesall Road South, Sheffield at 10:15pm. Garden waste had been set on fire and was out of control. The crew left at 10:35pm.

Two fire crews from Central and Rivelin stations were called out to pallets on fire inside a derelict building at 10:30pm on Rutland Road, Sheffield. They came away at 11:25pm.

Dearne firefighters attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 11:20pm on Schofield Street, Mexborough, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 11:55pm.

A vehicle was accidentally on fire at 11:35pm on Deer Park Road, Sheffield. Rivelin station attended the incident. They left at 12am.

A transit pick up vehicle was deliberately set on fire at 12:20am on Newman Road, Sheffield. Elm Lane station attended the incident. They came away at 12:35am.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 2am this morning on Race Street, Barnsley. Three fire crews from Barnsley, Cudworth and Tankersley stations attended the incident. They came away at 2:55am.

Rotherham firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish at 2:35am on Great Eastern Way, Parkgate, Rotherham. They left the scene at 3am.

A van was deliberately set on fire at 3:40am on Green Lane, Moorgate, Rotherham. A fire crew from Rotherham station attended the incident. They came away at 4:25am.
