Overnight incidents – 18/19 May

Firefighters from Elm Lane, Parkway and Central were called to a fire on Tinsley Park Road, Sheffield. This was initially to reports of smoke coming from an industrial unit. Upon arrival they found it was a skip on fire. This was dealt with by 8.33pm and is thought to have started accidentally.

Firefighters from Thorne were called to Wike Gate Road, Doncaster, at 8.21pm. Upon arrival they found an abandoned car had been set alight, sending smoke into a residential area. This was a light blue Peugeot. The fire was dealt with by 9.04pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Central were called to Daresbury View, Sheffield, at 10.28pm. Upon arrival they found two wheelie bins on fire. This was dealt with by 11.03pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.
