Overnight incidents – 2/3 December

Firefighters from Dearne were called to Dearne Valley Parkway, Broomhill, at 7.52pm. Upon arrival they found a car on fire in the layby of the A6195. This was dealt with by 8.21pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Parkway were called to High Hazels Park, Infield Lane, Sheffield, at 7.55pm. Upon arrival they found a load of fly tipped rubbish well alight. This was dealt with by 8.47pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Edlington were called to Cadeby Road, Sprotbrough, at 9.20pm. Upon arrival they found an abandoned van well alight. This was dealt with by 10.40pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Doncaster were called to Armthorpe Lane, Barnby Dun, at 11.30pm. Upon arrival they found the remains of a dumped settee on fire. This was dealt with by 11.51pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.
