Overnight incidents 2/3 September 2021

Birley Moor firefighters were called out to an accidental fire involving conifers at 7:45pm on Cranworth Road, East Dene, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 8:20pm.

Two fire crews from Maltby and Aston stations attended a deliberate wood fire at 8:30pm on Muglet Lane, Maltby, Rotherham. The firefighters came away at 12:05pm.

Firefighters from Dearne, Elm Lane and Edlington stations were called out to a ground floor empty flat at 8:40pm on Rawmarsh Hill, Parkgate, Rotherham.  The fire is believed to have started accidentally in the kitchen area. Fire crews left the scene at 10:20pm.

Rotherham firefighters attended a deliberate fire involving rubbish and a suitcase at 10:28pm on Percy Street, Rotherham. The crew came away at 10:35pm.

At 10:50pm firefighters from Central station were called out to a fire on scrubland on Skye Edge Avenue, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 11:10pm.

Two wheelie bins were deliberately set on fire at 11:15pm on Ironside Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left at 11:40pm.

Elm Lane firefighters were called out to a deliberate van fire at 2:10am at Longley Park, Crowder Road, Sheffield. The crews left the scene at 2:50am.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 3:35am on Elizabeth Street, Goldthorpe, Barnsley. Firefighters from Dearne station attended the incident. The crew left the scene at 4:20am.

Three fire crews from Birley Moor and Aston stations attended an accidental premise fire at 3:50am on Waterfield Mews, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have started due to a tea light. Two occupants suffered smoke inhalation. The fire crews left the scene at 5:05am.

Dearne firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 5:10am on Tudor Street, Thurnscoe, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 5:35am.
