Overnight incidents 2/3 September 2021

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 7:55pm on Victoria Street, Goldthorpe, Barnsley. Firefighters from Dearne station attended the incident. They left at 8:05pm.

Five fire crews from Dearne, Adwick, Edlington and Cudworth stations were called out to a fire at a derelict pub at 8:55pm on Doncaster Road, Goldthorpe, Doncaster. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crews left the scene at 10pm.

Firefighters from Tankersley and Elm Lane station attended a road traffic collision at 9:20pm on Lodge Drive, Harley, Rotherham. There was one vehicle on it’s side and one male casualty trapped. Firefighters extricated the man. Crews left the scene at 10:05pm.

Rotherham firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving a garden fence at 9:30pm on Bethel Road, Eastwood, Rotherham. The crew came away at 9:55pm.

Firefighters from Doncaster station attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 10:10pm on Rainton Road, Hyde Park, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 10:20pm.

A fire crew from Elm Lane station attended a fire involving wooden pallets and rubbish at 11pm on Southey Avenue, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 11:10pm.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 11:50pm on Saville Road, Wath upon Dearne, Rotherham. Firefighters from Dearne station attended the incident. They left at 12:05am.
