Overnight incidents 20/21 June 2021

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 7:25pm on Eastern Avenue, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left the scene at 7:45pm.

Central firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 7:40pm on Arbourthorne Road, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 7:55pm.

At 8:55pm firefighters from Cudworth station attended a deliberate fire involving a commercial wheelie bin on High Street, Grimethorpe, Barnsley. The crew came away at 9:15pm.

Firefighters from Thorne station were called out to an accidental flat fire at 9:45pm on Fieldside, Thorne, Doncaster. The fire involved a pan left on the stove. The crew left the scene at 10:05pm.

A vehicle was deliberately set on fire at 10:05pm on Evans Court, Armthorpe, Doncaster. Firefighters from Doncaster station attended the incident. They left the scene at 11:50pm.

Parkway station were called out to a deliberate bin fire at 10:15pm on Alison Crescent, Sheffield. Firefighters left the scene at 10:25pm.

Cudworth firefighters were called out to a deliberate vehicle fire on Darley Avenue, Ward Green, Barnsley at 11pm. The fire crew came away at 11:40pm.

A skip was accidentally on fire at 1:45am on Chaucer Road, Herringthorpe, Rotherham. Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident. They left the scene at 2:05am.

Firefighters from Rivelin, Parkway, Elm Lane, Birley Moor and Central stations were called out to a fire in the stairwell of a car park on Arundel Gate, Sheffield at 3:10am. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crews left the scene at 4:10am.
