Overnight incidents – 21/22 December

Firefighters from Rivelin were called to Platts Lane, Oughtibridge, at 7.18pm. Upon arrival they found a pile of rubbish that had been dumped on the floor and set alight. This was dealt with by 8.29pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Parkway were called to Grange Lane, Handsworth, at 11.49pm. Upon arrival they found a wheelie bin that had been taken down a farm track an set alight. This was dealt with by 0.10am and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Adwick were called to Top Lane, Clayton, at 0.04am. Upon arrival they found a Ford Fiesta car well alight. This was a total burnout. The fire was dealt with by 1.01am and is thought to have been started deliberately.
