Overnight incidents 22/23 June 2022

Central firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving a hedge on Furnival Street, Sheffield at 7:05pm. The crew left the scene at 7:15pm.

Firefighters from Central station attended a deliberate fire in woodlands at 7:05pm on Skye Edge Avenue, Sheffield. The crew came away at 7:45pm.

Dearne firefighters attended a grassland fire at 7:30pm on South Drive, Bolton Upon Dearne, Barnsley. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 7:50pm.

A fire crew from Doncaster station were called out to a deliberate garden fire at 7:30pm on Everingham Road, Cantley, Doncaster.  The crew came away at 8pm.

A bin was accidentally on fire at 7:55pm on Spotswood Close, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left at 8:15pm.

Parkway firefighters were called out to a park on Bassledene Road, Sheffield at 9:55pm. A bed and mattress had been deliberately set on fire. The crew left the scene at 10:15pm.

Firefighters from Edlington station attended an animal rescue at 10:20pm on Westbourne Gardens, Balby, Doncaster.  A deer was trapped in fencing. Crews used spreaders and cutters to free the animal. Once freed the injured deer was taken to a vet. Crews left the scene at 12:15am.

A fire crew from Parkway station attended a shed fire at 10:50pm on Ballifield Avenue, Sheffield. The fire was accidental and had spread from BBQ. The crew left the scene at 11:15pm.

A transit van was deliberately set on fire at 1:30am on Waltheof Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Parkway station attended the incident. They left at 2am.

Doncaster firefighters attended a deliberate fire involving bushes at 2:30am on Silver Jubilee Close, Wheatley Hills, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 2:50am.

Firefighters from Rotherham station were called out to a grassland fire at 4:20am on Phoenix Riverside, Templeborough, Rotherham. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. The crew came away at 4:40am.
