Overnight incidents 23/24 June 2020

Firefighters from Elm Lane station were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire inside a derelict church at 7:45pm on Windmill Lane, Sheffield. The crew left at 8:40pm.

A hedge was accidentally on fire last night at 9:25pm on Chapel Lane, Thurnscoe, Barnsley. A fire crew from Dearne station attended the incident. They came away at 10pm.

At 9:35pm Adwick firefighters attended a field fire on Station Road, Arksey, Doncaster. The crew left at 10:05pm. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.

Dearne firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 11:20pm on Bushfield Road, Wath Upon Dearne, Rotherham. The crew left at 11:40pm.

A skip was deliberately set on fire at 12:25am on Motehall Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Parkway station attended the incident. They came away at 1am.

A fire crew from Central station attended an industrial bin fire which was deliberately set on fire at 1:40am on South Quay Drive, Sheffield. The crew cam away at 2:05am.

Three fire crews from Barnsley, Central and Tankersley were called out to a terraced house at 2am on Claycliffe Terrace, Kingstone, Barnsley. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. One woman was suffering from smoke inhalation. The crews left the scene at 4am.
