Overnight incidents 24/25 April 2022

Three fire crews from Central and Birley Moor stations were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 7:40pm on Middle Hay View, Sheffield. The crews left the scene at 7:55pm.

Firefighters from Edlington station attended a deliberate fire in woodlands at 7:40am on Broomhouse Lane, Edlington, Docnaster. The crew came away at 8:05pm.

A motorbike was deliberately set on fire at 7:45pm on Chestnut Avenue, Carcroft, Doncaster. Firefighters from Adwick station attended the incident. They left at 7:55pm.

Barnsley firefighters were called out to a settee on fire in a garden on Bond Street, Wombwell, Barnsley at 7:45pm. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. The crew left the scene at 8:05pm.

Firefigthers from Dearne station attended a deliberate grassland fire at 7:50pm on Corton Wood, Brampton Biewlow, Rotherham. The crew came away at 8:10pm.

Several pallets were deliberately set on fire at 8:10pm on allotments at York Street, New Rossington, Doncaster. Firefighters from Doncaster station attended the incident. They left at 8:40pm.

Aston station were called out to a deliberate fire involving grass and bushes at 8:15pm on South Street, Dinnington, Rotherham. The crew came away at 8:35pm.

A fire crews from Rotherham station attended a deliberate fire involving a mattress on Doncaster Road, Dalton, Rotherham at 9:10pm. The crew left the scene at 9:30pm.

A vehicle was deliberately set on fire at 9:15pm on Cherry Tree Street, Hoyland, Barnsley. Firefighters from Tankersley station attended the incident. They left at 9:50pm.

Parkway firefighters attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 10:15pm on High Hazels Park, Infield Lane, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 11pm.

Firefighters from Elm Lane station were called out to an accidental rubbish fire at 11:05pm on Falstaff Road, Sheffield. The crew came away at 11:30pm.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 5:40am on Northfield Drive, Woodsetts, Rotherham. Firefighters from Aston station attended the incident. They left at 6:05am.

Rotherham firefighters were called out to a fire involving wooden furniture at 5:45am on Rother Road, Canklow, Rotherham. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 6:05am.
