Overnight incidents 24/25 November 2022

Maltby firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 9:15pm on Steadfolds Lane, Thurcroft, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 9:4opm.

Two fire crews from Dearne station attended a deliberate care fire at 10:25pm on Upperwood Road, Darfield, Barnsley. The crew came away at 10:55pm.

A van was deliberately set on fire at 1:40am on Skelton Lane, Woodhouse, Sheffield. Firefighters from Parkway station attended the incident. They left at 2:15am.

Three fire crews from Adwick, Edlington and Doncaster stations were called out to a road traffic collision involving a number of vehicles at 4:15am on the A1M between junction 37 and 38 southbound. There was one casualty trapped so firefighters quickly extricated the casualty. Firefighters left the scene at 5:20am.

Barnsley firefighters attended a rubbish fire inside a small container unit at 6:35am on Old Mill Lane, Barnsley. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crews left the scene at 7:05am.
