Overnight incidents 26/27 May

At 7:10pm a paper recycling bin was deliberately set on fire on Stannington Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Rivelin station attended the incident.  They left the scene at 7:50pm.

Firefighters from Stocksbridge station were called out to a grassland fire at 8:05pm on Ridgeway Crematorium Road, East Herringthorpe, Rotherham. The crew used a hose reel to put the fire out before leaving the scene at 8:45pm. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.

A fire crew from Tankersley station attended a grassland fire at 8:25pm on Hill Top Lane, Green Moor, Sheffield. The fire is thought to have started accidentally. The crew came away at 9:10pm.

Three wheelie bins were deliberately set on fire at 9:50pm on Silver Street in Doncaster. Firefighters from Doncaster station attended.  They left  at 10:05pm.

Barnsley firefighters attended a deliberate rubbish fire on Spark lane, Mapplewell, Barnsley at 10:20pm last night. They left the scene at 11pm.

A Vauxhall Corsa car was deliberately set on fire last night at 10:50pm on Paper Mill Road in Sheffield. A fire crew from Elm Lane station were called out to the incident. They left the scene at 11:25pm.

At 11:30pm a Skoda Fabia car was deliberately set on fire on Springwell Lane, Balby, Doncaster. Edlington firefighters attended the incident. They left at 12am.

Three fire crews were called out to a premise fire at 1:15am on St John’s Walk, Adwick Upon Dearne, Doncaster. The occupant was already out of the property when firefighters arrived. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Firefighters left the scene at 1:50am.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 1:20am on Church Road, Edlington, Doncaster. A fire crew from Edlington station attended the incident. They left the scene at 1:50am.

At 1:55am Barnsley firefighters were called out to Pindar Street in Barnsley. A garden fire had accidentally spread to decking. The crew left at 2:30am.

A communal bin accidentally caught fire at 2:30am on Plantation Walk, Dinnington, Rotherham. Firefighters from Aston Park station were called out to the incident. The crew left the scene at 2:50am.

Doncaster firefighters attended a garden fire at 3:25am on Chequer Road, Hyde Park, Doncaster. The fire caused slight damage to the properties windows and guttering. The fire is believed to have spread accidentally. The crew left at 4am.

A garden fire spread to fencing at 5:30am on Wharton Avenue, Swallownest, Rotherham. Aston fire fighters attended the incident. The fire is believed to be a deliberate fire. The crew left at 6:10am.
