Overnight incidents 27/28 April 2022

Dearne firefighters were called out to an accidental fire involving a sofa and shed at 7:50pm on Poley Avenue, Wombwell, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 8:25pm.

Firefighters from Tankersley station attended a deliberate grass fire at 8:10pm on Roebuck Hill, Jump, Barnsley. The crew came away at 8:55pm.

A fire crew from Doncaster station were called out to a sofa on fire at 8:10pm on Rufford Road, Belle Vue, Doncaster. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 8:30pm.

Birley Moor firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 8:35pm on Holbrook Avenue, Sheffield. The crew came away at 9:05pm.

Firefighters from Dearne station attended a deliberate fire involving grass and woodland at 8:50pm on Balkley Lane, Darfield, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 9:40pm.

Edlington firefighters were called out to a commercial wheelie bin which had been deliberately set on fire at 9pm on Main Avenue, Edlington, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 9:15pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 9:15pm on Wordsworth Drive, Herringthorpe, Doncaster. Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident. They left at 9:55pm.

Firefighters from Cudworth station were called out to a deliberate fire involving grassland at 10:15pm on Lund Hill Lane, Royston, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 11:05pm.

Dearne firefighters attended a motorbike on fire at 10:20pm on Marlborough Close, Thurnscoe, Barnsley. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 10:55pm.

A mini digger was deliberately set on fire at 1:40am on Roberts Avenue, Conisbrough, Doncaster. Firefighters from Edlington station attended the incident. The crew left the scene at 2:20pm.
