Overnight incidents – 27/28 July

Firefighters from Thorne were called to Bootham Crescent, Stainforth, at 10.12pm. Upon arrival they found a rubbish fire in a field. This was dealt with by 10.30pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Elm Lane were called to The Oval, Sheffield, at 0.08am. Upon arrival they found a car well alight on a driveway. This was dealt with by 1.01am and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Cudworth were called to Pinfold Lane, Royston, at 1.09am. Upon arrival they found a large amount of domestic waste that appeared to have been fly tipped. This was dealt with by 1.38am and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Central and Parkway were called to Staniforth Road, Sheffield, at 1.33am. Upon arrival they found a wood-cladded shipping container well alight. This had been dealt with by 2.01am and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Edlington were called to Springwell Lane, Balby, at 7.25am. Upon arrival they found a small amount of rubbish at the side of the main road. This was dealt with by 7.58am and is thought to have been started deliberately.
