Overnight incidents 27/28 September 2022

Barnsley firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving fencing at 7pm on Farm Road, Kendray, Barnsley.  The crew left the scene at 7:35pm.

Firefighters from Adwick station attended a fire involving pallets at 7:30pm on Deightonby Street, Thurnscoe, Barnsley. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew came away at 7:50pm.

Three fire crews from Parkway and Central stations attended an accidental flat fire at 7:30pm on Jaunty Lane, Sheffield. A pan had been left on the hob. Luckily there were no casualties. The crew left the scene at 8:50pm.

Rotherham firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 8:30pm on Wortley Road, Kimberworth, Rotherham. The crew came away at 9pm.

Firefighters from Parkway station attended a deliberate bin fire at 8:50pm on Main Road, Darnall, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 9pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 9:05pm on Chestnut Street, Grimethorpe, Barnsley. Firefighters from Cudworth and Rossington stations attended the incident. They left at 11:15pm.

Doncaster firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 9:45pm on Jubilee Road, Wheatley, Doncaster. The crew came away at 10:10pm.

Three fire crews from Tankersley, Elm Lane and Rivelin station attended a deliberate fire involving conifers at 10:20pm on Ribble Croft, Sheffield. The crews left the scene at 11:05pm.

A van was deliberately set on fire at 2:40am on Meadow Avenue, Rawmarsh, Rotherham. Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident. They left at 3:45am.
