Overnight incidents 28/29 March 2023

Rotherham firefighters were called out to a deliberate skip fire at 7:55pm on Bow Bridge Close, Templeborough, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 8:45pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 9:40pm on Vernon Road, Worsbrough Common, Barnsley.  Firefighters from Barnsley station attended the incident. They left at 10:20pm.

Six fire crews were called out to a large fire at a derelict building on Copper Street, Sheffield at 11pm. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Firefighters left the scene at 2:10am.

Firefighters from Maltby station attended a deliberate fire involving a wheelie bin at 2:05am on Alexandra Street, Maltby, Rotherham. The crew came away at 2:15am.

Four fire crews from Central, Rivelin and Lowedges stations were called out to a premise on Wolseley Road, Sheffield at 2:40am. The accidental fire was in the kitchen area and involved the mircrowave. Crews left the scene at 3:05am.
