Overnight incidents 3/4 January 2021

Benches outside were deliberately set on fire at King Edwards School, Darwin Lane, Sheffield at 7:30pm. Two fire crews from Rivelin and Central stations attended the incident. The fire had spread slightly to the outside of a building. Firefighters left the scene at 9pm.

Dearne firefighters attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 8:30pm on Doncaster Road, Goldthorpe, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 8:55pm.

Firefighters from Birley Moor station were called out to rescue a cat which was trapped in a cavity wall behind kitchen cupboards at 11:40pm on Morland Road, Sheffield. The crew left at 12:25am.

Two fire crews from Central station attended a car fire following a road traffic collision at 11:50pm on Spotswood Road, Sheffield. The crews left the scene at 12:50am.

At 5:20am Edlington firefighters were called out to deliberate car fire on Cotswold Drive, Sprotbrough, Doncaster. The fire had spread to a garage and a second car. The fire crew left the scene at 6:30am.

Two fire crews from Barnsley and Cudworth stations attended two cars which had been deliberately set on fire at 6:30am this morning at Mapplewell Business Park, Mapplewell, Barnsley. The crews left the scene at 7:35am.
