Overnight incidents 4/5 October 2021

Barnsley firefighters were called out to a small fire in the open at 7:50pm on Keresforth Close, Barnsley. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 8:30pm.

A moped was deliberately set on fire at 8:10pm on Pastures Road, Mexborough, Doncaster. Firefighters from Dearne station attended the incident. They left at 8:45pm.

Three fire crews from Cudworth, Tankersley and Elm Lane stations were called out to a fire at a premise on Mount Vernon Road, Worsbrough Common, Barnsley. A tumble dryer had accidental caught fire. Firefighters left the scene at 11pm.

Maltby firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 9:30pm on Leicester Road, Dinnington, Rotherham. The crew came away at 10pm.

Three fire crews from Tankersley, Dearne and Barnsley station attended a chair on fire to the rear of property on Cherry Tree Street, Hoyland, Barnsley. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The firefighters came away at 4:15am.
